Live Interactive Webinar ~ The Environment
“The Environment,” as we know it in today’s day and age has become not only a constant source of conversation but also an integral part of our everyday lives in ways that we, as citizens of this earth do not realize. Things like “turn off your lights” and “recycle” have been embedded into the common way of speaking so much so that we have lost touch with that this means and where does it come from.
Fast Forward to 2018 and we are looking at rising temperatures, climate induced migration, and extinction of various species. However, despite all things pushing away from a positive future, our youth worldwide has continued to surge forward for a brighter and greener future.
Together, as a cohort we look to discuss and engage in peaceful discourse as to understand better what we mean when we refer to “the environment,” how has it been damaged, and what, as youth and the world at large are we doing to help engage in its future as a sustainable resource. All the while keeping in mind and questioning the environmental philosophies and policies coming from different parts of the world, which both differentiate and assimilate us at the same time.
