Radu Vele
Age 16 – Romania
I am Radu Vele from Romania.
I was born in Baia Mare, a city from northern Romania in a traditional family based on Christian values. Since I was very little, have been taught to have respect for the others and a peaceful attitude. Currently I’m a high school student at a profile that focuses on mathematics and informatics.
I am a volunteer at Interact Club (youths from Rotary Club) of Baia Mare since November 2016, and I think this is one of the most important activities that I do, and it has a great impact on my view upon peace, integrity, diversity and fellowship. The thing I love the most about being a volunteer is that we can make actual changes in our community and organize complexes projects. The atmosphere inside the club determined me to candidate for the presidency. I’m honored to say that I’m going to coordinate the activity of the club from this position in the next mandate. Also, between my hobbies it counts playing the guitar and sports such as volleyball which I practiced for 3 years and football.
