I am a young and passionate Indian living in Mumbai. I successfully completed my bachelor’s degree in Information Technology. As a teenager I have always had a keen interest in computers but deep in my heart I wanted to do something for the society. Being an active part of the Youth for a United World Organization I actively volunteered in many activities in my city like wall painting, tree plantation, visits to orphanages and old age homes.
I had an opportunity to be a part of two international youth events which was held in Hungary(2012) and Africa(2014). These visits acquainted me with new friends from all over the world and new incites to the culture and the way of living in different parts of the world. In 2014, I lived in Italy with 27 young girls from 15 different countries to live and experience of Peace and Unity.
Currently I am working as a facilitator in an NGO where I teach youth between 18 to 25 years of age who are from the marginalized and deprived societies. I teach a batch of 30 youth every 3 months English, Computers, Sales, Hospitality and work Readiness. After 3 months these youth are placed in companies. I feel an immense joy in teaching these youth as it makes a big difference in their lives. I want to continue to work for the society and making a difference in lives of the less privileged.
